kINDER+SPORT
Helping kids grow up is a tough but exciting job, because young people are our future.
This is the philosophy behind Kinder+Sport, a project developed by Ferrero to promote and publicise sports activities as part of a healthy daily routine, especially for children. The idea came about from the realisation that health is the result of a balanced diet and frequent, appropriate exercise.
Sports activities are an important part of growing up for everyone, because sports help us to discover our own bodies, understand its limits, and try to push beyond those limits by putting ourselves to the test, making that extra effort to reach our goal.
Sport encourages us to respect others: rules have to be learnt and followed, opponents have to be faced with honour, teammates have to be helped and sometimes we will need their help. Sport teaches us how to behave in a social context, to be honest when faced with problems, to accept success and failure in equal measure.
It is for this very reason that Kinder has been collaborating with and supporting the main Italian and European sports federations and institutions for many years, in order to develop activities aimed at creating a generation that grows up well and truly ‘on the move’.
Kinder+Sport is now a partner of I.S.F.: it shares its principles and values and hopes in this way to play a significant part in the growth and success of the Federation.
