Ferrero, one of the world’s leading sweet-packaged food companies, is proud to announce the launch of its beloved global spread in a new plant-based version in Israel - the latest addition to the growing family of Nutella.

Crafted with plant-based ingredients instead of milk, this innovation delivers the unique taste of Nutella and is parve. Nutella Plant-Based will be available for purchase starting October in all retail chains nationwide in a 350g jar.

Nutella Plant-Based delivers the same unmistakable Nutella experience but removes milk and adds vegetal ingredients such as chickpeas and rice syrup. Just like the classic Nutella, Nutella Plant-Based combines quality ingredients, including its signature roasted hazelnuts and flavorful cocoa, to create a unique creamy and delicious texture. Without compromising on taste, the new spread is vegan certified by the Vegetarian Society and offers a delicious new choice for consumers.

As the iconic brand marks 61 years, Nutella continues to bring its innovative spirit and decades of expertise to tables worldwide. With this launch, Ferrero is embracing the growing demand for plant-based products, with increasing numbers of consumers choosing to reduce or avoid animal products whether for dietary or lifestyle reasons. Nutella Plant-Based has been developed to meet this demand, whilst welcoming even more people to the Nutella family.

Alona Strod, Senior Brand Manager of Nutella at Ferrero in Israel, said:
“For more than six decades, Nutella has been part of everyday moments for millions of families around the world. With Nutella Plant-Based, we are excited to welcome even more people into the Nutella family. This innovation was created to give consumers a delicious new choice that delivers the unmistakable Nutella experience in a plant-based version, replacing milk with vegetal ingredients. It brings a unique taste, creamy texture, and renowned quality that Nutella is known and loved for.”

Israel is the first market outside Europe to launch Nutella Plant-Based, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s global journey. Like the original Nutella, it will be sold in a recyclable jar and produced using quality ingredients, in line with Ferrero’s dedication to responsible sourcing.
