The first Joy of Moving Active Plaza in Argentina was inaugurated in Exaltación de la Cruz

Ferrero Argentina, in conjunction with the municipality of Exaltación de la Cruz, inaugurated the first Joy of Moving Active Plaza in Argentina, with the purpose of promoting movement and play in public spaces, for the benefit of the entire community.

Buenos Aires, April 28, 2026. Within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed in 2025 between the Municipality of Exaltación de la Cruz and Ferrero, the first Joy of Moving Active Plaza in Argentina was inaugurated, with the objective of encouraging sports and physical activity and guaranteeing the right of children and adolescents to play, move, and grow up in a healthy way.

Joy of Moving is the company's Corporate Social Responsibility program that seeks to bring children and families the joy of movement and active living. It began globally in 2005 and currently has a presence in 30 countries.

Also present at the event were municipal authorities: the Secretary of Government, Luz Bozzani; the Director of Education, Hernán Dunjo; and the Director of Production, Benjamín Vittori. Principals from Primary Schools No. 21 and No. 11 also attended, as well as the General Manager of Ferrero Southern Cone, Laura Perdomo, and the Manager of the La Pastora plant, Sebastián Barreiro. “At Ferrero, we understand that enjoying movement is fundamental to promoting a healthy lifestyle. That's why we're promoting Joy of Moving, our Corporate Social Responsibility program, which has been present in the country for 14 years and began a new phase in Argentina in 2025, with a dual strategy that is now being realized in Exaltación de la Cruz. This park is an invitation to continue building, together, more active and healthier communities,” commented Matteo Mattei, Vice President of Institutional Affairs and Corporate Communications for Ferrero's International Division.

The Joy of Moving program is based on a working method that includes four fundamental pillars: physical fitness, motor coordination, cognitive function, and creativity and skills.

In 2025, the program began developing a dual strategy that involves bringing the method to schools in the towns of Exaltación de la Cruz and Vicente López, called Active Schools. In the municipality of Exaltación de la Cruz, the program has had a continuous presence, with actions in Primary School No. 19, Primary School No. 1 and recently in Primary School No. 14. The second axis of the strategy focuses on mass activations to carry out activities that promote movement in public spaces, aimed at the entire community.
