We embrace portion as a core principle for the responsible consumption of our products. This design, paired with portion information, helps consumers make informed choices and enjoy our products responsibly, as part of balanced and varied diets and lifestyles.

Many of our products are designed in small portion sizes and individually wrapped, reflecting our heritage of creating portioned products, with our latest reporting figures showing around 85% of our products were sold in servings of 130 kcal or less, and about 63% with serving sizes of 100 kcal or less.
NUTRITION INFORMATION
Providing clear nutrition information is an important part of our approach and helps consumers make informed choices.
We provide nutrition information on the front and/or back of our packs, complying with relevant legislation in different countries and our voluntary commitments.
We continue to make progress in how nutrition information is communicated, with digital tools like SmartLabel and QR codes.

All our new product innovations are guided and informed by our Ferrero Nutrition Criteria (FNC).
THE FERRERO NUTRITION CRITERIA
The Ferrero Nutrition Criteria (FNC) are our science‑based, category‑specific standards for evaluating our product portfolio and guiding innovation in line with evolving consumer needs and nutrition science, without compromising on taste or consumer expectations.
The standards are based on recommendations issued by international agencies and other expert bodies, technological capabilities, nutritional composition and taste performance, and energy content and nutrients to limit or encourage.
The FNC place our products into defined classes considering the type of product, it’s nutrient and ingredient composition as well as considering how it is consumed and its role in an overall diet.
The FNC were published for the first time in a peer‑reviewed journal in July 2025, marking an important step in transparently communicating our approach.

We support active lifestyles with initiatives that inspire the joy of movement in children.
ENCOURAGING ACTIVE, HEALTHY LIVES
Kinder Joy of moving is a Ferrero Group Social Responsibility project that encourages children’s natural inclination to be active, move and play, in the belief that a positive attitude toward movement can make today’s children better adults tomorrow. The project is inspired by Joy of moving, a scientifically validated educational method that, through play and movement, helps children develop fundamental skills to grow up active, grow up happy.
Kinder Joy of moving organises and supports physical education programmes in and out of schools, as well as sporting events for children and school competitions. It also runs multidisciplinary events to bring children closer to sport, collaborates with athletes and former champions to inspire youngsters, and supports research projects focused on the benefits of an active lifestyle.
