THE FERRERO GROUP PRESENTS ITS FIFTH ANNUAL REPORT ON CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Ferrero’s fifth Corporate Social Responsibility Report has been published online, both in English and Italian, within a brand new website dedicated to the Group’s social responsibility commitments (www.ferrerosustainability.com). Ferrero continues to strongly sustain and transparently detail its social responsibility commitments. The 2013 CSR report reflects the concrete activities carried out throughout the world from 1st September 2012 to 31st August 2013 as well as Ferrero’s longer term 2020 strategic vision.

This fifth edition was drafted on the basis of the GRI (Global Reporting Initiatives) Organization parameters. For the third consecutive year the Ferrero Group has attained the A+ application level, which is the highest level of sustainability reporting confirmed by GRI check and statement. The report also takes into account: the "Ten Principles" of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and "The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises." Independent assurance of the report was carried out by Deloitte.
