Ferrero Gran Soleil receives the “Excellence in Innovation” Award
The “Royal Park i Roveri” Golf Club hosted the Superbrands Tribute Event, a ceremony attended by over 120 people between journalists and institutional figures, entrepreneurs and managers who play a leading role in the international market.
In the course of the ceremony, the fourth edition of the Consumer Superbrands Annual was presented in a special version commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, and awards were given to the brands that distinguished themselves in the market for their excellence.
Ferrero Gran Soleil received the “Excellence in Innovation” Award. The prestigious recognition was accepted by MD Gino Lugli, who revealed the secrets to the success of the new chilled desserts and pointed out that Ferrero “aims to develop products that create a new demand instead of catering to existing market trends. It prefers to create a new need for its products instead of meeting a need whose fulfilment has already been accomplished by someone else. This philosophy has enabled the company to create new market segments providing more interesting opportunities for consumers”.

The invitees to the Superbrands Tribute Event, all of them members of the exclusive Superbrands Consumer programme, are described in the fourth edition of the Superbrands book that devotes two pages to each of the top-performing brands, with information on the brand history and recent developments, plus two pages of photos.
Superbrands is considered the Business Bible in the field of brand information worldwide, since it identifies, in an independent, non-partisan manner, those brands that stand out for innovation, R&D, service, quality, specificity and relevance to the territory.
