FERRERO - EXPO 2015

Ferrero Group financial figures

The confectionery company will be joining the Expo 2015 team with a project that will not disappoint lovers of the most famous chocolate spread in the world, Nutella, which also celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

"Ferrero - said Giovanni Ferrero, the Group's CEO - wants to contribute to the success of Expo 2015 by offering its experience of best practices and important projects in the field of corporate social responsibility".

This is the programme that Ferrero will present at the Great Exhibition in its role as Confectionery Specialities Official Partner.
Ferrero totems and multimedia kiosks reinterpreting some of the Group's hallmark products – starting with Nutella - will accompany visitors from Pavilion Zero to Biodiversity Hill, the Children's Park and the Open Air Theatre as they discover the exhibition areas created by each country. The "Ferrero tour" will be an artistic, cultural and educational journey that links the site's major attractions as it interprets the theme "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life".

Ferrero will also create eight 5-minute videos that will be shown in the Landscape Room in Pavilion Zero illustrating some of the best food production practices worldwide. During the six months of the exhibition, it will organise events and competitions for young people that present the four basic pillars of its corporate social responsibility work: its Products, the Ferrero Foundation in Alba, the Social Enterprises in India, South Africa and Cameroon and the Kinder+Sport programme. The Expo Milano 2015 logo will soon appear on Ferrero snack packaging: a ticket to the event will be one of the prizes on offer with the Regalissimi points promotion from March to December 2014.
