Fans around the world are invited to share their “Nutella way” as the iconic brand continues its mission to spread positivity across the world. 

  • World Nutella Day 2026 celebrates global fans by shining a light on the many ways people around the world enjoy and share Nutella smiles.
  • To the delight of Nutella fans, the brand’s dedication to innovation continues into 2026 with the launch of brand-new products such as Nutella Peanut and Nutella Ice Cream Cone, in North America.  
  • This year also sees the luxury publishing house Assouline launching the book Nutella, a celebration of Nutella’s legacy as a cultural icon. 

As World Nutella Day marks nearly two decades of fan-powered celebration, Nutella is inviting people worldwide to take part in a joyful global cultural exchange sharing how they live, love and enjoy Nutella in their own unique way.

Since 2007 World Nutella Day has been uniting people across the globe through their shared love of Nutella. This year, the brand is shining a spotlight on the creativity and connection that make Nutella part of people’s life across the globe. From local breakfast rituals to traditional cuisine from different cultures, from family traditions to stories told online, from art to reuse to cultural exhibition, the ways to enjoy Nutella and share smiles are endless

What’s New for 2026?

  • Innovation is at the heart of Nutella, driven by a passion for constantly creating new products, with dedication and experience. Committed to spreading even more smiles, this year Nutella will offer two exciting additions to its ever-growing family.

    - *NEW! Nutella Ice Cream Cone – Following the successful launch of the Nutella Ice Cream tub, the Nutella ice cream range continues to expand. The unmistakable Nutella taste will start being available to North American consumers presented in a distinctive swirled cone, combining Nutella ice cream with crunchy Nutella swirls, for a unique Nutella experience.

    - *NEW! Nutella Peanut - Designed to combine the distinctive peanut taste, familiar to millions of North American consumers, with the unmistakably smooth and chocolatey Nutella creaminess. Enjoyed with delicious fruit sandwiches combos, Nutella Peanut aims to be the new protagonist of tasty afternoon breaks. USA and Canadian fans: the countdown to April has officially started!

     

  • Nutella by Assouline – This new title explores all facets of the signature spread through six chapters: History, Quality, Bread & Breakfast, Versatility, Nutella World, and Iconicity. The extraordinary coffee table book is a celebration of Nutella’s legacy as a cultural icon, a spoonful of positivity that bridges generations and borders with the ever-present feeling of nostalgia. 

A global cultural celebration with Nutella  

This 5 February, fans worldwide are once again united in simultaneous celebrations. Nutella invites those fans to share their very own recipes, rituals and stories, sparking a global cultural exchange and encouraging everyone to discover how others live and love Nutella.

Nutella is a worldwide icon that unites people through food and culture. Loved in over 170 countries, it has been sparking positivity everywhere from family kitchens to bustling street markets, adding its signature taste to traditional recipes and modern creations alike.  

Beyond the table, Nutella jars have become part of everyday life - whether full or empty, they are repurposed as flower vases, candle holders, and even storage for cherished keepsakes. Over the years, Nutella has reached art and music, from the playful ‘Sound of Nutella’- a sonic identity created using hazelnuts as instruments - to a special exhibition at Rome’s MAXXI Museum celebrating its 60-year journey of creativity.
